Bonjour!
God is good and His faithfulness endures forever! We have several very encouraging and even exciting things to report. We also have an important appeal to make.
Rachel is in France!
Rachel arrived in France on July 15th and is now busy working with Tim and Elizabeth Knickerbocker at Camp Arc en Ciel (Rainbow), studying French, and preparing for the commencement of the Apollos program in September. She will be working in evangelistic outreaches with the Apollos team in a different church each week for the coming year. Thank you to those who helped get her there and are giving to provide her needs. She already has $300 of $400 monthly need committed and is trusting the Lord to provide any lack.
Anne Finishes the Course!
On August 3rd, Anne will take the final exam of her LPN course and will be ‘pinned’ on August 7th. She’s done a great job and we look forward to the opportunities that this will open us in the years to come.
Cameroon Update
Yann Jouan is making final inquiries as to whether concerns about the swine flu might delay the work in Cameroon scheduled for September and October. At this point, it appears to be a go, so Mark is making arrangements to leave for France in early September and then go on to Cameroon from Toulouse. A great opportunity for the cause of Christ is open in this needy field.
Appeal
Our support level is about 75%. We are trusting the Lord to provide $1125 per month in additional support or special gifts in order to carry out our work. Over the next year, these funds are mainly needed for travel (airfare and ground transport), visas, and ministry materials. Would you pray with us about this and give as the Lord directs? We have His leadership to move forward and appreciate your faithful help.
Sincerely,
Mark & Anne Gostlin
